Natural Leader, Pigeon Eater.
My name is AJ McDougall, and I am proud to be running for every position on the McBain Hall Council. When I saw that nobody was running, I had three thoughts. First: it's a true tragedy how disengaged young people are from our politics. Second: I could sure go for some pigeon meat right now. Third: I bet I could win those positions.
Now, what is the number one issue facing McBain? The crumbling facade, which the City of New York has deemed unstable and unsafe, resulting in the permanent scaffolding over our front door. Well. If New York City wants to stick it to McBain like this, how about we elect a one-woman hall council who will stick it to New York City? I commit to eating pigeons, NYC's most powerful resource, until they decide to leave us alone about our beautiful, rustic facade. We, the residents of McBain are PROUDLY unstable and unsafe. Don't we deserve a facade that is the same?
If you elect me to be your whole hall council, I promise to eat pigeons and otherwise not really fundamentally change anything. Because after all, isn't at least half of that what hall councils are for?
